Foremost progresses in leaps and bounds
The renovations of the Foremost Groups most recent Holiday Inn Express Hotel in Essen have barely finished and already there is a new project in sight. In June 2012 the construction of the next Holiday Inn Express Hotel will commence. Together with the Strabag AG Deutschland in Freiburg, the Holiday Inn Express Heidelberg City Centre, at the Kufürstenanlage, between the main station and the old town, will become Foremost Hospitalitys eighth hotel. The building, to be completed in the spring of 2014 will house not only the hotel but also retail and office space.
Foremost Hospitality currently operates seven hotels in Germany, as well as the Essen City Suites. The Holiday Inn Express Hotels that belong to the Foremost Group are: Munich Airport, Berlin City Centre West, Hamburg City Centre, Hamburg St.Pauli-Messe, Dresden City Centre, Frankfurt City Hauptbahnhof and Essen City Centre.
The Foremost Group are planning to add 13 more Hotels to their portfolio by 2016 including Hotels in Hamburg, Leipzig, Munich, Düsseldorf and a second Hotel in Berlin at Alexanderplatz.
As with all the Hotels in the Group, the Holiday Inn Express Heidelberg City Centre will be a completely Non-smoking hotel, which has always been seen as very positive by the guests.
Amenities such as the complementary continental breakfast, Flat Screen TVs in all the 152 rooms, Wireless Internet, Power Showers and complimentary Tea and Coffee making facilities are available to all guests.
In the Spring of 2014 the Holiday Inn ExpressHeidelberg City Centre will bring the InterContinental Hotels Group 3rd Design Generation to Heidelberg.
Dresden wins Top Hotel Award
The Holiday Inn Express Dresden City Centre has been honoured with the "Top Hotel Opening" Award in the budget category. The trade publication Top Hotel has awarded Hotels for the first time this year and so recognises and honours those hotels that have had highly successful openings in 2011.
The Dresden Hotel was short listed for this award and was then able to beat the Motel One Munich Deutsches Museum, the H2 Berlin Alexander Platz and the LetoMotel in Munich. The constant high capacity and the highly sucessful revenue made this Hotel the competitions favorite. Another strong point for this hotel is its unique design. The remnants of the old city wall that we found during the build, were excavated and utilised in the build. So the guests can start their historic tour right in the hotel lobby and the underground car park. At the Top Hotel Openings ceremony in Stuttgart, the Assistant Hotel Manager, Roland Schäfer, proudly accepted the award.
The Holiday Inn Express Dresden City Centre is situated close to the Dresdner Altmarkt so it is only a few minutes walk to the famous sights of the city. Guests can stay here in a double room starting at 63,00 Euro, the breakfast is, as in all Holiday Inn Express Hotels, complimentary. The Hotel boasts modern rooms with a fresh design, Power Showers, a choice of soft and hard pillows, a flatscreen TV, Tea and Coffee making facilities, room safe and high speed wireless internet access
Foremost Hotels support a noble cause
The association Die Arche – Christliches Kinder- und
Jugendwerk e.V was founded by pastor Bernd Siggelkow in 1995. Through this organisation he would like to help children all over Germany that live below the poverty line. The Arche facilities, that can be found across the country, provide children with a warm meal, tutoring for school and sensible pass time activities such as sport and music.
They are however reliant on financial support from us, so that they can continue to support these children. For this reason Formost Hospitality has decided to joing forces with the Arche and help them in their battle to prevent child poverty. As of May 2011 Foremost is starting a Collection that will continue until the end of the year.
Foremost Group expands rapidly
The first hotels are already up and running including Berlin City Centre West (158 Rooms), Hamburg City Centre (179 Rooms), Munich Airport (150 Rooms), Hamburg-St.Pauli Messe (120 Rooms) and Frankfurt City Hauptbahnhof (116 Rooms).
Since May 2nd 2011 the sixth hotel belonging to the Foremost Group is open. The HIEX Dresden City Centre (218 Rooms). The contruction work was interupted shortly due to an archaeological discovery, but after continued at record speed so that the staff can now welcome the first guests.
More hotels are being planned in cities around Germany including Heidelberg, Stuttgart, Düsseldorf, Berlin, Hamburg and Mannheim.
