Starting in February 2011, WGF AG, seated in Duesseldorf, and Foremost Group, seated in Berlin, intend to develop a Holiday Inn Express near Alexanderplatz in Berlin. The location of the project is a 2,500 sqm vacant lot between Voltairestrasse 2 and Schicklerstrasse, next to Berlin's urban railway (S-Bahn). Completion of the six-story building with 10,274 sqm of gross floor area, enough for 240 rooms, is slated for the second quarter of 2012. The building will be operated as the “Holiday Inn Express Berlin Alexanderplatz” by Foremost Hospitality HIEX GmbH. The lease has a term of 20 years.

2010) für alle Gäste der Welt zu bewundern sein.

Novel Express Bedroom Experience In Hamburg

Some time ago, Foremost Hospitality was handed a franchise agreement by InterContinental Hotels Group and invited to develop a total of 20 Holiday Inn Express and Holiday Inn hotels across Germany. The latest off the production line – the 179-room Holiday Inn Express Hamburg City Centre – is especially noteworthy, because it is the first hotel in Europe to have the newly designed Holiday Inn Express bedroom (lie back and think of dark wood furniture, larger bathrooms, and flat screen televisions). The hotel, which is owned by German fund manager Union Investment, occupies a former tax office; Foremost’s subsidiary Apprimus clearly found it none too taxing to convert the office into a hotel. Hamburg is set to welcome a second, 120-room Holiday Inn Express, this time to the St Pauli district, in March 2010.

With the ground breaking ceremony on the 7th of May the construction phase of our new Holiday Inn Express St. Pauli has officially begun. It will open in spring 2010.

Foremost Hospitality is on a tour of its native Germany clutching a franchise agreement that covers the Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express brands. Foremost is visiting Germany’s key cities to open hotels with these brands, and will not rest until InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has counted up to 20. The countdown should be complete by 2016, and seven of the 20 hotels are already under development. Before IHG and Foremost embarked on their latest adventure together, there were 41 Holiday Inn hotels in Germany and 14 hotels with the Express by Holiday Inn brand.

IHG announces 20 new hotels for Germany.

IHG, the world’s biggest hotel group, has signed a development agreement with Foremost Hospitality to open 20 new hotels under its Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express brands by 2016.

The deal will take to 75 the total number of Holiday Inn properties in Germany.”
