Hotel Management Team

Arndt Writzel has an international employment background and has worked in China amongst other countries. He holds a bachelors degree in business administration from AKAD Fachhochschule Stuttgart, Germany and also successfully completed the international hotel management school of Belvoirpark in Zürich, Switzerland. Mr. Writzel started his career in the Holiday Inn Munich-Schwabing in the sales and marketing department. He then continued working for the InterContinental Hotels Group in Beijing and Chongqing. Previously employed as Director of Sales & Marketing in the Platzl Hotel Munich he joined the Foremost Hospitality Group in July 2008. In 2010 Mr. Writzel was voted Employee of the Year.

Sandra Hellwig already has international experience with the IHG Hotels. She worked in the Crowne Plaza in Salzburg and the Holiday Inn in Sydney, Australia. After her experience abroad  Ms. Hellwig came back to Berlin in September 2009 and joined the Holiday Inn Express Berlin City Centre West as the Assistant Hotel Manager and as of the July 1st 2011 she will be filling the Hotel Manager position.

Melanie Welp is a Business Economist in tourism and hotel management and started her career as a hotel management trainee in Frankfurt, Germany. She later moved to South Africa and London and worked in various posts. Before joining the Foremost Group in March 2011, Melanie Welp worked as Assistant Director of Operations for Maritim Hotelgesellschaft mbH near Hannover, Germany and for the Ritz-Carlton in Berlin, Germany.

Teresa Pires has been working for the InterContinental Hotels Group brands for many years. She started eight years ago at the Holiday Inn Heidelberg as Conference and Banqueting Team Leader and afterwards as the Business Development Manager at Holiday Inn Mannheim City Centre. Teresa Pires joined the Foremost Group for the pre-opening of the Holiday Inn Express Frankfurt City Hauptbahnhof in January 2011.

Nikolas von Olberg started his career in 1999 with hotel management training at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Heidelberg, where he held various positions until 2006.  In 2007 he accepted the position of Front Office Manager at the Holiday Inn Hamburg, Kieler Strasse. He joined Foremost Hospitality as Deputy Hotel Manager in August 2009. Since June 2010 he is responsible for the Holiday Inn Express Hamburg-St. Pauli. Since 2011 Mr. von Olberg has two new postitions at Foremost Hospitality.  He is National Revenue Coordinator and is also in charge of the HIEX Hamburg City Centre.

Tobias Hansen started his career with Foremost Hospitality as Guest Service Assistant in the Holiday Inn Express Hull City Centre. From that point forward he worked his way up very quickly. In 2010 Mr. Hansen came back to Germany to be Guest Service Manager in the newly opened Holiday Inn Express Hamburg City Centre.  When Foremost opened its second Hotel in Hamburg, the Holiday  Inn Express Hamburg-St.Pauli Messe, Mr. Hansen joined that team as Assistant Hotel Manager. Just over a year later in November of 2011 Mr. Hansen became Hotel Manager in the Holiday Inn Express Essen - City Centre and Essen City Suites.
